Dear Sorate's Friends,

We are excited to announce that the first harvest of tea in Uji, Japan has just begun! This marks the start of a new growing season and the promise of fresh, high-quality tea.

In particular, we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Shincha tea, which is made from the first tender leaves of the season. Shincha tea is known for its bright, deep, and mellow refreshing aroma, and it is highly sought after by tea enthusiasts around the world.

While Shincha harvesting begins in the middle of April in some regions like Kagoshima and Shizuoka, in Uji, Kyoto, it starts in early May due to differences in altitude and soil affecting sprout timing.

We expect our Shincha tea to be ready for purchase in the coming weeks, so be sure to stay tuned for updates and availability.

In the meantime, we invite you to explore our other fine teas from Uji and beyond.
