Matcha Affogato Recipe
Warm, vibrant green matcha meets cool vanilla ice cream for a verdant take on traditional Affogato.
A traditional Affogato is where espresso is poured over vanilla ice cream. We took this to another level with our Sorate Matcha Infused Affogato.

Ingredients per serving:
- 2 teaspoons (about 3-4g) Sorate House Matcha
- 6 tablespoons (90 ml) hot water (at 175ºF)
- 2 scoops of Vanilla Ice cream (we have used the no diary Oatly)
- 1 Walnut
- 4gr of Dark Chocolate
Place your Matcha in a small bowl we used Sorate Matcha Superior.
Add a few drops of hot water and whisk to form a paste. After all clumps are removed, gradually add the rest of the hot water, whisking until smooth.
Add one scoop ice cream into your bowl of choice
Pour matcha over ice cream
Sprinkle chopped nuts on top
Grate dark chocolate on top.
