1. Genmaicha: It's a traditional Japanese green tea made by combining Sencha with roasted brown rice. The rice adds a toasty, popcorn-like flavor to the tea. Genmaicha has a mellow taste and a unique aroma, making it a popular choice.
2. Genmaicha Matcha-iri: It is a blend of Genmaicha and matcha. Genmaicha is a Japanese green tea that includes roasted brown rice kernels, giving it a nutty flavor. Matcha is a powdered green tea with a rich, vibrant taste. Genmaicha Matcha-iri combines the earthy flavors of genmaicha with the smoothness and intensity of matcha.
3. Sencha Fukamushi: It is a type of sencha green tea. The term "fukamushi" means deep-steamed, referring to the steaming process during production. Compared to regular Sencha, Sencha Fukamushi is steamed for a longer time, resulting in smaller leaf particles and a deeper green color. It also produces a richer and slightly more astringent flavor.
4. Sencha Karigane: It is a type of green tea made from the stems and veins of Sencha leaves. These parts of the tea plant contain a slightly different composition, resulting in a unique taste. Sencha Karigane is known for its mild and slightly sweet flavor with a hint of umami. It is often considered a more affordable alternative to sencha.
5. Gyokuro Superior: It is a high-quality Japanese green tea known for its delicate flavor and vibrant green color. Gyokuro leaves are grown in shade for a few weeks before harvesting, which enhances their umami flavor and reduces bitterness. Gyokuro Superior is considered one of the finest green teas, prized for its sweetness and smoothness.
6. Gyokuro Karigane: It is made from the stems and veins of gyokuro leaves. It shares some similarities with Sencha Karigane in terms of the stem usage, but gyokuro leaves have different characteristics, resulting in a distinct taste. Gyokuro Karigane offers a mild, sweet flavor with a rich aroma and a hint of umami.
7. Hojicha: It is a roasted green tea made from bancha or sencha leaves. The leaves are roasted at high temperatures, which gives the tea a reddish-brown color and a toasty, caramel-like flavor. Hojicha has a unique roasted aroma and a mild, less astringent taste compared to other green teas. It is often enjoyed in the evening due to its lower caffeine content.

Matcha, like champagne, is crafted from specific cultivars, each contributing unique flavors. Sorate offers four cultivars: Yabukita (balanced, vibrant green), Samidori (deep green, mild), Asahi (rare, rich, creamy), and Okumidori (umami, bright green).
Single Cultivar matcha showcases one cultivar's traits, preferred by enthusiasts. Blended Cultivar matcha combines multiple cultivars for a balanced flavor, appealing to a broader audience. At Sorate, our diverse matchas highlight these unique flavors and qualities for a distinctive matcha experience.
